Who Is Noland?

Noland, born in 2010, is a competitive swimmer proudly representing Jamaica on the international stage. Though born in the United States, his roots and identity are deeply tied to Jamaica, where his passion for swimming first took hold. Now training with Badger Swim Club, he balances elite-level competition with academic excellence, carrying both discipline and pride into everything he does.

The Caribbean has been the stage where Noland truly came into his own. At the CARIFTA Aquatic Championships, he established himself as one of Jamaica’s brightest young stars, taking over his age group and winning event after event. His performances captured the attention of the region, showing not only his speed and strength in the water but also his determination to lead Jamaican swimming forward.

Beyond the victories, CARIFTA gave Noland unforgettable experiences. Traveling across the Caribbean to compete, he embraced the energy of each island, built friendships with fellow athletes, and felt the pride of representing Jamaica every time the flag was raised. These moments shaped him as much as the medals, reinforcing his mission to inspire young swimmers and prove that Caribbean athletes can shine on the world stage.

In 2025, Noland’s journey reached a new milestone when he competed at the World Aquatics Junior Championships in Romania, stepping confidently into international waters with the strength and experience earned from his Caribbean triumphs.

Driven by a vision to inspire young athletes and elevate Jamaican swimming globally, Noland trains with intensity and purpose. His goals include continuing to win at the highest levels, breaking barriers for Jamaican swimmers, and using his platform to advocate for access and opportunity in sports. This website is a welcoming space to follow his progress, celebrate his achievements, and join in his mission to make waves for Jamaica.
